QCE Child Care is located in Mittagong in the Southern Highlands of NSW. In September 2010 we passed our first accreditation with one of the highest levels of quality care. This is due to the dedication of our staff who provide a safe environment for the children to learn and develop. Our aim is to provide exceptional levels of care and education for all children and their families. We provide programs specifically designed for each age group to promote their development intellectually, physically, creatively and socially. Qualified Educators and Chef
The owner and director of our centre has been educating as an early years professional for over 20years. The Director has always loved caring and educating children and continues this each day with QCE Child Care. The qualifications and experience within the centre is always in line with the law and part of the quality improvement plan to meet exceeding practices within our service.
The Educators in the centre have qualifications ranging from trainees, Certificate III, Diploma in Community Services, and Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood).
Our educators continually develop their skills and education. This includes formal training to gain higher qualifications and short in-service programs to educate the teachers in particular aspects of child care development, inclusion, Safety and child protection.
All educators hold a first aid certificate within the first year of their training and a current Working
With Children Check.
Activities, Incursions and the local community
Activities we enjoy include:
- Environmental and sustainable education visits from our local Bunnings team
- Safety and Community educational Visits from Police and Fire departments
- Transition to primary school program
- Participation in local events (e.g. Cultural awareness weeks, Bowral Tulip Festival)
- Live educational and fun shows at the centre (Funky Bugs, the reptile man)"
Fees & availability
Child Care Fees & Availability
QCE Child Care caters for children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age. Our vacancies vary depending on age and days you require. You should always add your interest to our wait list.
Our fees are very competitive and ensure value for money. With a government subsidy, your GAP fee could be as little as $15 per day.
